Activities in the Argolida are too many to mention, we have tried to give an idea to our future and exisiting guests some of the things to do in the area below. Watersports are available at most beaches with a mixture of sailing, motor boat rental, windsurfing, waterskiing, scuba diving, ringo & banana rides and kite surfing, with or without tuition in most cases. Walking is another popular activity in Nafplio and the surrounding areas. It is possible to take part in one of the guided walks that are offered by local companies and learn some history at he same time.
These are some of the many things to do and places to see: Traditional Greek cookery lessons in one of the villages outside the town, Wine tasting in Nafplion & in Nemea at one of the wine producers, Ouzo and liqueur tasting at a local distillery just outside the town, kite surfing on the coastal Nea Kios road, rock climbing in Vivari & Arvanitia, a limited amount of bicycles are available free of charge from the Nafplion council for rides around the town, hire a car to explore the area to the full, hop on - hop off bus ride, mini train ride around the monuments and old town, visit to the archaeological sites of the Argolida & Peloponnese, cruises to the islands of Hydra & Spetses during the Summer months, live performances at the Epidavros Theatre (July & August), organised excursions etc... etc..... etc
