The History of the building of Pension Anapli, the townhouse that has been fully renovated in Nafplion
In 1820, the Barou Family lived in their town house built on part of the rock of Acropnafplia, and in the heart of the old town of Nafplion. It is rumoured that Barou himself had hidden glorious treasures in his house.
In 2007, our family found this treasure, the townhouse itself! With love and care, respecting the history of the building, the architecture and the atmosphere of the place, we renovated it to its former glory and made it into a warm, welcoming accommodation with all the feel of the original townhouse.
